Today, we're thrilled to spotlight a truly unique work of art - a sacred geometry artwork, masterfully crafted from stainless steel and designed in collaboration with renowned artist, Robert Grant.Â
Sacred Geometry, for those unfamiliar, is a concept that sees particular geometric shapes and proportions as having a sacred, or symbolic, significance. It's a traditional theme in the spiritual, metaphysical, and religious realms, and it's also a cornerstone of the architectural and artistic disciplines. This project, therefore, was an opportunity to explore this mystical world, while showcasing our fabrication capabilities.
The artwork was meticulously crafted using a 5th axis OMAX 55100 waterjet, one of the most advanced pieces of equipment in our arsenal. The OMAX 55100 is a large-format machine that offers high precision cutting across a wide range of materials. It provides us with the ability to create complex shapes and intricate designs, making it the perfect choice for this project.
The stainless steel used for this artwork was chosen for its strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Its shiny, reflective surface adds a unique dimension to the piece, enhancing the visual impact of the sacred geometry design.
